Vietnam government to “manage” chat apps
Reuters reports that the announcement was made by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, and that state media said the government might "ban" all free OTT services because of the harm done to network providers. Viki reaches 10.2m app install mark
Global TV site Viki has surpassed 10.2m total installs of its apps in Q2 2013, a nearly seven-fold increase from last year. Over 41% of the app users watched content on a tablet platform, while iOS users watched on average 2.5 times more than Android users, according to the report from Viki. New York – The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has announced the nominees for the 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
