CBS has unveiled its slate of programmes for the 2013/2014 upfront. In efforts to expand its comedy block, the network has picked up four new comedies including The Crazy Ones, a single-camera comedy from executive producer David E. Nielsen expands digital measurement with pilot programme for new content ratings
New York – Nielsen has announced a pilot programme for Nielsen Digital Program Ratings, which will measure audiences for TV content viewed online. A+E, ABC, AOL, CBS, The CW, Discovery Communications, FOX, NBC and Univision have all signed on to participate in this test, which will begin in May and run through July. New York – The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has announced the nominees for the 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Arizona – ABI Research announced in its latest OTT and Multi-screen Services Research Service that the OTT video market has crossed the US$8 billion mark in 2012, with companies such as Netflix, Hulu, Apple and Amazon driving the growth.
