Chinese companies enter Top 30 Global Media Owners for the first time
The top media owner is Google, which is by some distance the world’s largest media owner, with revenues 47% higher than the second-largest, DirecTV. ZenithOptimedia forecast: China to overtake UK in global ad market
ZenithOptimedia has forecast that this year China will overtake the UK to become the fourth largest ad market in the world. ZenithOptimedia's latest adspend predictions include 5.4 per cent growth in China this year. The agency also concluded that the worldwide advertising downturn is slowing down.
