This year’s Emmy Awards paid great dividends for Asia’s Pay-TV operators. The annual awards show, held in Los Angeles on Sunday, saw top honours given to drama series from both the big players and the new. HBO Asia’s shows won a combined total of 19 awards, the most out of all Pay-TV operators in the region. Last year’s hit Boardwalk Empire, had the biggest haul out of any one programme, winning eight.
