Globo to broadcast FIFA World Cup matches in 4K
The first live 4K over the air transmission in Brazil will happen in the final match of the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014. Globo will hold 4K ultra-high definition demonstrations of three matches of the tournament, in partnership with Sony. Chinese companies enter Top 30 Global Media Owners for the first time
The top media owner is Google, which is by some distance the world’s largest media owner, with revenues 47% higher than the second-largest, DirecTV.
