The new look includes a number of improvements to navigation, news content and access to industry directories. Operators abandon ship
Leading operators in Asia-Pacific are now transitioning to Long Term Evolution (LTE) without continuing to offer burdensome unlimited tariffs. This is based on evidence from research firm Ovum, which found that unlimited data tariffs for LTE are unsustainable because of the traffic growth and management issues they generate. Taiwan issues new TV licences
Two new terrestrial television licences have been issued by Taiwan's National Communications Commission (NCC). One of the licences will be for a commercial broadcaster, while the other will be for a commercial-free station airing public interest programmes. Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) has appointed one of Europe’s top TV executives, Gerhard Zeiler, as president of its international division.
