Da Vinci Learning TV channel expands reach in Asia

Singapore – Da Vinci Learning channel has announced several carriage deals across Asia, giving viewers in Thailand, Malaysia and Myanmar access to the educational channel. The channel has been available to subscribers of CTH in Thailand since February 2013. Myanmar’s Forever Group will include the channel in their offer in May and ABNxcess in Malaysia will follow in July 2013. Comedy Central Asia launches in Thailand

Bangkok - Comedy Central Asia announced that the channel will be available to Thailand's Me Television (MeTV) subscribers from January 16. ABS-CBN International Distribution has sold approximately 40% of its content since 2000 to eleven Asian countries including Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong Indonesia, Korea, Myanmar, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam. Amid a wave of reform, Thai satellite and cable operator True Corp is looking to enter Myanmar’s cable and satellite market ahead of the ASEAN economic community (AEC) in 2015 with a US$32 million investment.
