29% of Indonesian consumers use pirated TV Boxes
These TV boxes, also known as Illicit Streaming Devices (ISDs), allow users to access hundreds of pirated television channels and video-on-demand content.

Hughes Network Systems has been selected by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Bank BRI), a state-owned bank and the largest bank in Indonesia, to deploy its JUPITER System to power services over BRIsat, Bank BRI’s satellite covering Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
HBO Asia has announced that their online streaming service HBO GO is now available in Indonesia to all First Media customers who are eligible HBO subscribers. In Asia, HBO GO is also currently available in Hong Kong, Philippines and Singapore.
