Myanmar’s SkyNet buys TV rights for English Premier League
According to BBC News, Myanmar’s SkyNet has bought rights for the EPL and will broadcast all the matches for the next two seasons. The amount SkyNet agreed to pay for the rights were not revealed. "SkyNet is delighted to be able to offer the world's most followed football league to its viewers," company chief Daw Myint Myint Win said, as quoted by the BBC. Barclays Premier League announced that Chinese broadcaster Super Sports Media Group has been awarded the exclusive LIVE audio visual broadcast rights for all EPL matches per season for seasons 2013/14-2018/19 in mainland China and Macau.
