Hong Kong - Asia Broadcast Satellite (ABS) has confirmed the build of ABS-2A, a multi-beam 48 transponder Ku- satellite which will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2015 to ABS’ prime 75°E location. SES’ first half results show growth in all markets
Satellite operator SES has reported financial results for the six months ended June 30, 2013. The company's revenue at constant exchange rate (FX) grew by 7.2%, excluding German analogue impact. International revenue increased by 9.3% over H1 2012 to EUR 252.8 million, on a constant FX basis, as new capacity addressing emerging markets was successfully commercialised. Luxembourg – SES and MNC Sky Vision, Indonesia's satellite pay-TV provider with its well-known brand, Indovision, have announced an agreement to provide capacity on the SES-7 satellite to support Indovision's future Chinese-language Direct-to-Home (DTH) package.
