Boeing delivers ABS-2A into full operation
Bermuda – Boeing has delivered ABS-2A, an all-electric propulsion 702 satellite, to ABS which entered into commercial service on January 21st. This is the second of the pair of all-electric satellite Boeing has delivered to ABS. Macau - ABS has announced that it will partner with PT Sarana Media Vision (SMV), using SMV’s DTH license to launch a consumer FreeView satellite service ‘FreeViewSat’ across Indonesia in January 2017. ABS announced that ABS-2A was successfully launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 full thrust rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Hong Kong - Asia Broadcast Satellite (ABS) has confirmed the build of ABS-2A, a multi-beam 48 transponder Ku- satellite which will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2015 to ABS’ prime 75°E location.
