Two Armoza dramas head to Portugal
Leading Portuguese broadcaster SIC has commissioned the finished series of two dramas, Allenby and No Return, from Armoza Formats. The tapes of Allenby are from the original Israeli version that aired on Channel 10, while No Return is from Brazil’s Rede Record.
“The Arbitrator” heads to the big screen
After four successful seasons of Armoza Formats’ crime drama, The Arbitrator, Vietnam Television has commissioned the rights to turn the hit-series into a movie. The 47-episodes of the drama aired on Vietnam’s leading broadcaster under the local name Người phán xử.
Two new seasons for “Curvy Supermodel”
Prime time reality show Curvy Supermodel has received two new commissions in Europe. After a successful first season on Ukraine’s 1+1, the channel has recommissioned the Armoza Formats show for a second season, while Germany’s RTLII have licensed a third season of the modelling competition.
“The Surprise Teacher” travels to France and Spain
Armoza Formats has announced that two new countries have taken the local rights for their new factual entertainment format, The Surprise Teacher. In France they have been acquired by Banijay Productions, and in Spain with Atresmedia-owned Verte.
Israel’s “La Famiglia” expands to Cyprus and Austria
The Israeli comedy La Famiglia from Armoza Formats has been commissioned in Cyprus and Austria, by Alpha TV and Interspot Film respectively. The third season of the series in Israel is now in production and slated to begin airing this year.
Singing competition “The Four” commissioned in Israel
Armoza Formats’ prime time singing competition, The Four, has been licenced for local adaptation in Israel by TV network Reshet 13.
