MediaCorp has sold the distribution rights of The Ultimatum, its first Chinese drama filmed entirely in HD, to Shanghai Dingli Film Cause Co., Ltd in China. The Ultimatum has also been sold to cable operators in Cambodia and Malaysia, and is expected to go on-air in August and September respectively this year. CNN International has won an Amnesty International Media award in the ‘International Television and Radio’ category, for the documentary, World’s Untold Stories: The Forgotten People. Singapore – Upon the expiration of BBC Worldwide Channels’ two-year exclusive agreement with SingTel mio TV, three channels will launch exclusively on StarHub TV.
