MediaCorp has sold the distribution rights of The Ultimatum, its first Chinese drama filmed entirely in HD, to Shanghai Dingli Film Cause Co., Ltd in China. The Ultimatum has also been sold to cable operators in Cambodia and Malaysia, and is expected to go on-air in August and September respectively this year. This is the first time MediaCorp is offering HD content at the TV Festival. MediaCorp recognizes the future of HD content and is gearing up to produce more hours of programming. Next in line will be the 180-part long form drama, Your Hand In Mine, slated to go on-air in Singapore end of this year.
