Manila - ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. has launched the regional operating headquarters (ROHQ) for its support services unit, a move that is seen to give operational efficiency and yield savings to the company. Ten Sports: ready for more channels after technology change
Ten Sports say they can now transmit three more channels on their satellite space after changing transmission systems. The Dubai based operation has changed from the Mpeg 2 to the Mpeg 4 transmission system, and say that the change-over is an important one for their business. China’s CCTV launches Arabic International Channel
China - CCTV has officially launched its Arabic international channel. The new channel "will serve as an important bridge to strengthen communication and understanding between China and Arab countries," said CCTV vice president, Zhang Changming, in a statement. He said the channel would need to meet five criteria in order to compete with other international Arabic channels.
