MediaCorp CEO Lucas Chow has resigned
Lucas Chow, CEO and Director of MediaCorp Pte Ltd. announced his resignation to the company's staff today. Mr Chow, who has held the top job at Singapore's state broadcaster since 2005, is expected to leave on 31 July 2011. Mr Teo Ming Kian, MediaCorp Chairman, said a committee has been established to consider a successor from both outside and within the company. BBC channels switch to StarHub
Singapore – Upon the expiration of BBC Worldwide Channels’ two-year exclusive agreement with SingTel mio TV, three channels will launch exclusively on StarHub TV. On 1 August 2009, StarHub TV will add BBC Knowledge (channel 74), BBC Lifestyle (channel 83) and CBeebies (channel 31) to its Education Basic Group, Lifestyle Basic Upsize Group and Kids Basic Upsize Group respectively at no additional cost.
