Singapore – SES S.A. announced that the SES-3 satellite is being relocated from its former location over North America to Asia, an area experiencing great demand for the satellite’s capacity. Satellite TV gets boost
Thailand media organization Nation Group is expanding its satellite TV business with a three year Baht 500 million (US$160,000) plan. The company plans to launch at least two more stations - Krungthep Turakij and Yaowachon Channel - taking the total number of its stations to seven. It aims to capture audiences in all segments and expects to boost broadcasting advertising to 40 per cent of total ad revenue. OTT denting LIVE TV coverage
A study by US PVR service TiVo, shows LIVE TV viewership has dropped 27 per cent with viewers who use broadband connected services.
