TBS(Tokyo Broadcasting System) will launch an exhibition at South by Southwest 2025 (SXSW 2025), the world’s largest convergence conference & festival, to be held in Austin, Texas, USA from March 7 (Friday) to 15 (Saturday) (*local time). This will be the third consecutive year since 2023.

SXSW is a large-scale event held every March that combines a music festival, film and TV program screenings, exhibits of the latest technology, and contests, and has the aspect of a trade show for the entertainment industry. SXSW dedicates itself to helping creative people achieve their goals. Founded in 1987 in Austin, Texas, SXSW is best known for its conference and festivals that celebrate the convergence of tech, film, music, education, and culture.

TBS brings its globally popular content to SXSW, featuring SASUKE/Ninja Warrior, Toilet-bound Hanako-kun Season 2, and the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25. Participants can experience these highlights and more through an interactive booth showcasing TBS’s latest technology.

‘Live Multi Studio’ will be exhibited at the booth, which is a software that allows people to send bidirectional video, audio, and control signals over the Internet. A live demonstration will be conducted to exhibit video transmission and remote operation capabilities between Tokyo and Texas.
