With its addictive gameplay—driven by treachery, deceit and betrayal—the show has captivated audiences worldwide, leading to adaptations across Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, Australia and New Zealand, with multiple returning series and companion shows also commissioned.
The Traitors tape sales also demonstrate the brand’s international appeal with numerous versions acquired across six continents. Tape sales include Australia, USA, UK and Canada acquiring the Asian Academy Creative Award-winning New Zealand version (produced by South Pacific Pictures).
The Traitors (Dutch title: De Verraders) was created and developed by IDTV in cooperation with RTL Creative Unit.
