BBC Worldwide sold 500 hours of programmes

Singapore – BBC Worldwide announced the sale of 500 hours of programmes to key clients in Southeast Asia. Singapore - Vasantham channel’s police drama series, Vettai, produced by MediaCorp Eaglevision, has been acquired by Malaysian terrestrial television channel NTV7 and will be telecasted in the second half of the year. Malaysia’s FTA giant Media Prima grows in strength

Petaling Jaya, Malaysia – Media Prima, an integrated media group based in Malaysia, has recorded a 3 percent growth, in Profit After Tax and Minority Interest (PATAMI) from Continuing Operations after Extraordinary Item (EI) of September 2012 compared to the corresponding period last year from RM132.60 million to RM136.73 million.
