Al Jazeera introduces new citizen contribution portal
Al Jazeera has launched a new citizen media sharing service. The network’s existing portal launched in 2008 at the start of the Arab uprisings. Los Angeles / Paris – The second edition of Discop Istanbul concluded last week, reporting a 25 per cent overall increase in attendance over last year’s inaugural edition. Broadcast Middle East, a joint venture between News Corporation and MOBY Group, announced the launch of a second Farsi language entertainment channel – Zemzemeh.
