BBC Studios Asia has agreed licensing deals with SMG Holdings for Bluey and Studio Acorn for Hey Duggee, two of BBC Studios most loved and prestigious kids hits. BBC Kids launches in South Africa and Taiwan

BBC Studios today announced that it has partnered with Switch Media and MTN to launch BBC Kids in South Africa from 1st September 2022. BBC Kids offers inspiring, educational and entertaining BBC content for families and children aged 0-12. CBeebies debuts in Taiwan

BBC Worldwide’s award-winning children’s channel CBeebies makes its debut in Taiwan as a dual-language, localised channel on 13th March. CBeebies debuts in China on iQIYI

BBC Worldwide, on the first day of Showcase 207, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with iQIYI, China’s largest online video platform,  to bring almost 300 hours of pre-school content from CBeebies to its viewers.  This is the first time that CBeebies programmes will be available in China on a digital platform. iQIYI is the leader in providing online services in China with 20 million paid subscribers (as of June 2016).
