YouTube to acquire Twitch for US$1 billion
Reuters – Google Inc's YouTube unit has reached a deal to acquire videogame-streaming service Twitch for more than US$1 billion, according to a report in Variety, the entertainment news publication. Chinese companies enter Top 30 Global Media Owners for the first time
The top media owner is Google, which is by some distance the world’s largest media owner, with revenues 47% higher than the second-largest, DirecTV.
