According to the release of fully consolidated ratings for Deutschland 83, the German spy drama is the highest rated foreign-language drama in UK TV history. After launching with 1.49 million viewers, the launch episode has now been consolidated with 2.5 million views. As part of Walter Presents, the series is the first German-speaking drama to play on a mainstream U.S. cable network.
