Sydney, July 2 2007- Foxtel will screen Fox series The Rules for Starting Over and K-Ville within days of their U.S. broadcast. Ho Chi Minh / Singapore- Disney Channel has secured carriage on Vietnam Cable Television Service Technique Centre (VCTV) and Saigon Tourist Cable Television Company (SCTV) to reach 75% of all pay-TV households in Vietnam. Move to ban junk food ads in Taiwan
Taipei- Health authorities in Taiwan are seeking to ban junk food ads aired between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on four children TV channels, Disney Channel, ETTV YOYO, Cartoon Network and Fubon MoMo Children within a year, according to the United Daily News. An official at the Department of Health's Bureau of Food Sanitation was quoted as saying the bureau plans to extend the ban to all channels around dinner time.
