Singapore – Universal Channel HD has launched on Chunghwa Telecom’s IPTV platform, MOD. The channel is an addition to Portico Media’s Wowtv bouquet of channels, which is part of MOD’s Family Pack. The arrival of Universal Channel HD to Taiwan comes a month after the launch of Universal Channel HD’s first-ever launch in South East Asia on Telekom Malaysia’s IPTV platform, Hypp TV on February 1. Universal Networks International has further plans to launch more HD channels in the Asia Pacific region this year.
