Mitre Studios has announced the appointment of Nadia Afiari as their new Director of Production.
The appointment of Afiari, underlines the ambitious vision Ant and Dec have for building Mitre Studios into a fully-fledged production powerhouse working across TV and digital content creation.
In the newly created role, Afiari will be responsible for production budgets, schedules and delivery of all productions across both digital and television output. She will also be working alongside the MD ensuing the overall financial health of the company.

Prior to joining Mitre Studios as Director of Development, Afiari played a pivotal role in the success of major entertainment formats, including: Too Hot to Handle (Netflix), Don’t Rock the Boat (ITV), Celebs go Dating (Channel 4), The Jump (Channel 4), All Together Now (BBC) and Harry Heroes (ITV). With over 18 years of experience in the TV industry, she excels in managing new series and collaborating with creatives to produce boundary-pushing and entertaining content.
Afiari was previously Head of Production across all commercial activities at Great Scott Media where she supported productions from conception to delivery plus managing all company operations.
Additionally, she co-founded Black Leaders in TV, a community interest company dedicated to promoting diversity within the TV industry. From budgeting, to management of large teams and multi-million pound projects, Nadia is intent on providing excellence and the continuance of showcasing new talent within television production.
