CBC Kids has renewed Canadian Screen Award-nominated live-action preschool series BESTEST DAY EVER WITH MY BEST FRIEND! for a second and Bestest season of the show yet! Created and produced by Lopii Productions for kids aged 3-6 and their families, the new season (20×7) is scheduled to premiere in Winter 2025. The show celebrates critters and creatures of all walks of life.

In every episode of BESTEST DAY EVER, host Lisette meets up with a wonderful young pet owner and their beloved pet. We hear about their bond and what makes their relationship so special, and Lisette (occasionally with a guest) teaches our awesome owners a special way they can say thank you with a DIY toy, treat or enrichment that will make their day. After their pet gives their new treat a try, they head over to the Surprise Zone, where they are given a once-in-a-lifetime experience, customized to the pet’s personality and their favourite things to do.
