ITV Studios Finland is to produce a series of the scripted format Threesome for the leading VOD service in Finland, Elisa Viihde. Filming on the 10-episode series begins later this month. The ITV Studios Global Entertainment format was originally produced in the UK by Big Talk Productions for Comedy Central.

The ITV Studios Finland version of Threesome will follow three best friends, Vilma, Seve and Markus, who are on the brink of 30. Party boys and girls, they’ve always done everything together. Following a spur of the moment threesome with both Seve and Markus, Vilma becomes pregnant. Faced with the stark reality that this huge responsibility could be the thing that splits them up, the hedonistic group come up with a solution: to bring the baby up as a trio.
