Singapore – NBC Universal Global Networks’ Hallmark Channel is launching the Asian version of TV series, The Biggest Loser across 20 Asian territories. The Biggest Loser sees severely overweight contestants undergo strenuous physical and mental challenges in order to shed pounds. The Biggest Loser Asia is Hallmark Channel’s first foray into local production. Having successfully secured the broadcast rights for eight seasons of the popular US reality series since early 2009, the move to launch the Asian edition is a value-add for millions of viewers who have tuned in faithfully to the series on Hallmark Channel.
