
BBC Studios has announced that the Emmy® Award-winning animated series Bluey will be broadcast more widely across Japan. TV Tokyo will launch the series onto 6 group television networks in April.
The beloved animated series will be available across the 6 TXN Networks including TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TV Kyushu which covers over 70% of national households.
Previously available within the greater Tokyo area, the upcoming nationwide syndication follows the successful launch of Bluey Season 1 on TV Tokyo’s “Eeny meeny miny moe” slot every Saturday at 7:00am.
Fans across Japan will soon be able to watch Bluey S1 and S2 on their TV screens at a new extended time slot every Sunday at 7:00am, starting from 6th April. Episodes will be available in Japanese as well as in the original English audio, featuring the original voices of Mum and Dad, Melanie Zanetti and Dave McCormack.
