The documentary showcases FPT’s international expansion from its early days to establishing its first international presence, and how FPT continually innovates to meet challenges ahead
- Early days: Vietnam’s entrepreneurial spirit and economic reform paved the way for the founding of FPT, its breakthrough deal, and the crucial decision to expand globally.
- Global expansion and new horizons: Obstacles during the 1990s dot-com boom led FPT to shift its direction, with a historic client meeting in Japan, setting the stage for the creation of FPT’s education system for future innovators.
- Resilience and innovation: FPT’s pursuit of advancements in digital transformation, AI, automotive, and semiconductors, and the spirit of pushing forward continues to contribute to Vietnam’s overall tech development.
FPT Founder and Chairman Dr. Truong Gia Binh said: “FPT was founded as a means for survival, and it was the ambition to uplift a nation from poverty and showcase Vietnam’s intelligence to the world that fueled our growth. To this day, we remain steadfast in our commitment to this legacy, continuously building a highly skilled workforce, especially in AI, semiconductors, and automotive technology, to lead both Vietnam and global transformation movements”
FPT Software Chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha said: “This documentary captures the collective commitment and relentless efforts of many FPT generations who dared to dream big and act boldly. 25 years ago, we made a proud decision to ‘Go global or die,’ a bold move crucial for our fate and a game-changer for Vietnam at that time. Today, this daring spirit remains embedded in the DNA of every FPT member and will continue to be passed on to future generations as we venture into new frontiers in technology and innovation.”
