ZEE5 Global, the largest OTT platform for South Asian content, has increasingly become the daily entertainment staple for all ages. Continuing to satiate audiences with the perfect doses of comedy, thriller, drama, and more, ZEE5 is all ready to bring in the festive spirit with its lineup for October.
Headlining the entertaining line-up this month are two captivating original series with rocky relationships at their core. Set to stream on 7 October is Madhushalini and Tony Luke lead in Expiry Date, a thriller rooted in jealousy and betrayal. While Ekta Kapoor’s Bebaakee starring Kushal Tandon returns with 10 new episodes on 12 October, where two brothers fall for the same girl.
Vishal Pandya’s gritty crime drama Poison 2 starring Aftab Shivdasani will be released on 16 October.
In their unique on-screen chemistry, Saqib Saleem and Shweta Basu play a stand-up comedy couple who tackle their own relationship problems off-stage in the ZEE5 original movie Comedy Couple, set for release on 21 October.
Coming up on 29 October is a high-intensity drama and the long-awaited ZEE5 original, Taish. Acclaimed director Bejoy Nambiar is back with a revenge drama series featuring Pulkit Samrat, Jim Saarbh, and Kriti Kharbanda. On 7 October, the ZEE5 exclusive – Howdy On, a funny riches-to-rags story showcasing cool, true blue diversity vibes will also be released.
ZEE5 Global is all set to release its second Pakistani Original, Ek Jhoothi Love Story, featuring Bilal Abbas Khan and Madiha Imam in a wholesome family drama exploring relationships, on 30 October.
ZEE5 will also be releasing an original Tamil, Thandhu Vitten Ennai on 23 October and a new Bengali TV show Jibon Saathi on 5 October.
There’s an equally exciting lineup of TV shows. Enjoy a laughter riot at the antics of Jyoti Sharma as she embodies an over-possessive wife testing her husband’s faithfulness in the series Ram Pyare Sirf Humare, on 5 October, while on 20 October, Apna Time Bhi Aayega starring Anushka Sen addresses the class system, while Juhi Parmar makes a comeback in Hamariwali Good News.
Among non-fiction shows, the highly-anticipated SRGMP Lil Champs Finale will be held on 11 October, along with witty Bangla stand-up comedy show Mirakkel premiering its new season.
For Navratri and Durga Pujo, ZEE5 will be featuring a specially curated line-up of Hindi and Bangla blockbusters. Zee Bangla will also be launching a Mahapujo event and two animated shows depicting tales of Maa Durga and Asura.
