The DVB-T2 systemĀ today deliversĀ 30Ā national and up to six localĀ channels of high-quality news, information and entertainment to FCT residentsĀ ā as many as 200 free over-the-air channels areĀ anticipated āĀ with GatesAir high-efficiency ULXTEĀ liquid-cooled transmittersĀ poweringĀ allĀ over-the-airĀ DTVĀ content delivery.Ā Comprehensive national coverage will eventually reach more than 50 millionĀ viewing homes andĀ approximatelyĀ 170 millionĀ peopleĀ in 36 Nigerian statesĀ and the FCT, withĀ a completeĀ nationalĀ digital switchoverĀ targeted for DecemberĀ 2021.
