With a line-up of much awaited new digital premieres, Bollywood hits and Originals, ZEE5 has an action-packed July in store for its audiences across 190+ countries, not just across languages but across genres as well.
From the makers of the popular ZEE TV show Ishq Subhan Allah, comes the digital spin-off, Ishq Aaj Kal. A romantic drama starring Angad Hasija, Ankitta Sharma, Paras Kalnawat, Roshmi Banik and Kavita Ghai,this ZEE5 Original web series follows the journey of Alia Jaffri whose dark past continues to ruin her present and possibly her future.
Also lined up for July is the ZEE5 Telugu Original, Nerd. Starring Hasvanth Vanga and Namrata Darekar, this is an unconventional crime suspense thriller that follows a lonely man’s quest for companionship. Watch the unexpected twists and turns that unravel when six beautiful women enter his life.
ZEE5 Original Rejctx also premieres this July. Follow the hard-hitting struggles and reality of an emerging high school band, in Kubra Sait and Sumeet Vyas’s web series, launching on 20th July. Produced by Goldie Behl, the series brings foot-tapping beats and a talented cast to make it a must watch.
New additions to the list also include ZEE5’s Marathi Original Series Hampi and Amzath and Arjun Kurien’s ZEE5 Tamil Original movie Igloo.
With cricket fever in the air across countries, ZEE5 premiers the Tamil film Kanna, which follows the journey of a middle-class woman who aspires to compete in the world of cricket.
Adding a touch of humour to the month is Director Arvind Sridhar’s Tamil film, Simba which captures the story of a stoner, who falls in love with his neighbour and befriends her Great Dane, in the hope that she will reciprocate his feelings. And for thrill seekers, Telugu murder mysteryDrushti will keep you at the edge of your seat.
