CINEMAX has renewed the action series STRIKE BACK for a seventh and final season, it was announced by Kary Antholis, president, HBO Miniseries and CINEMAX Programming. STRIKE BACK season 6 is currently airing with new episodes debuting, same time as the U.S., every Saturday at 11am with a same day encore at 10pm, on HBO GO and CINEMAX. The sixth-season finale is scheduled for Saturday, 30 March. The show follows the explosive escapades of Section 20, an elite, multinational, covert special ops team, as it spans the globe fighting a vast web of interconnected criminal and terrorist activity.
Season six actors include Warren Brown, Daniel MacPherson, Alin Sumarwata, Jamie Bamber, Yasemin Kay Allen and Varada Sethu. Among critical praise for the current season, FanSided noted, “Bamber and Allen light a new fire under the series, and Brown, MacPherson and Sumarwata are even better than they were last year.” ScreenRant lauded the series’ iconic explosiveness, commending this season’s “crazy stunts” and “truly technically impressive action sequences.”
