Singapore – Bomanbridge Media, a Singapore-based content distribution and production agency clinches multiple kids’ title sales with Wow Dadi (Zhejiang), Jetsen Huashi Wangju, and TVB Hong Kong.
The iconic Care Bears series from American Greetings Entertainment is once again selected, this time by Jetsen Huashi Wangju China, who picked up multiple series including Care Bears: Welcome to Care-A-Lot, Care Bears: Adventures in Care-A-Lot and lastly the Netflix Original Series Care Bears and Cousins. Jetsen also acquired TV movies Care Bears: Oopsy Does It, Care Bears: Share Bear Shines, Care Bears: The Giving Festival, and Care Bears: To The Rescue.
The Care Bears are a group of fun, lovable bears from cloud-filled Care-a-lot who have one special mission–to teach caring and sharing to others and show them how to express their feelings. Each Care Bear has a unique, recognizable personality with a colourful belly badge to match! For thirty-five years, the Care Bears have appealed to both kids and parents, because they teach valuable lessons in a fun, friendly way! Parents trust them to offer children good examples about how to treat others, understand their own feelings, and apply what they learn as they grow.
Wow Dadi (Zhejiang) China procured four seasons of the pre-school series Bookaboo. Bookaboo, is produced by Happy Films and (the fourth season with) Sinking Ship Entertainment. It showcases a world-famous rock puppy – Bookaboo – who invites celebrity friends backstage before his concert to read him a picture book. Celebrities in the new season include Paula Abdul and Michael Sheen. The series inspires children and grown-ups to share books together.
TVB Hong Kong, who previously acquired two seasons of Giver, has returned to pick up season four. Produced by Sinking Ship Entertainment, Giver is a design series that engages children to get involved with their communities by building playgrounds. The latest season is the most ambitious one yet – Giver builds the largest playground in the country to celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday!
TVB Hong Kong has also picked up season 2 of Emmy, Parents’ Choice and Youth Media Alliance award-winning show Odd Squad. Also produced by Sinking Ship, Odd Squad is a live-action comedy about a high-tech organization run by kids that investigates anything strange, weird and especially odd. Odd Squad is a fun and engaging way for kids to become familiar with and master key math concepts and operations.
