As announced earlier this year, world renowned actress Kim Cattrall stars as the US President in the second season of C More and TV4’s thriller series Modus – and now, two other international stars join the cast, Greg Wise and Billy Campbell. British actor Greg Wise boasts successes such as the Jane Austen classic Sense and Sensibility and the recent Netflix series The Crown.
Billy Campbell has starred in several hit series including The Killing and the acclaimed mini-series Cardinal. Modus’ second season will be released on C More this fall, after the service’s recent successes with original series Farang and Missing.
Greg Wise scored his break-through as John Willoughby in Sense and Sensibility in 1995 and has since starred in several series and movies, including Netflix hit series The Crown. In Modus, he plays Warren, main character Inger Johanne Vik’s (Melinda Kinnaman) former FBI mentor.
“Warren and Inger Johanne have a complicated past. Taking on this role was an exciting challenge, as Warren has a very dark side to him: he is the ultimate narcissist, Machiavellian and takes great delight in pushing all the boundaries. I’m sure the viewers will have no idea what to think of him. That’s the fun in playing the character” says Greg Wise.
Billy Campbell recently starred in the popular Canadian series Cardinal. Before that, he starred in series such as The Killing, Once and Again and The 4400. In Modus, he takes on the role of Dale Tyler, President Helen Tyler’s (Cattrall) husband.
“I play Dale Tyler, First Gentleman of the United States. Dale is the President’s husband and confidant, but their relationship has changed over the time they’ve spent with each other. What binds them together now is their daughter, and a dark secret they’ve shared for years” says Billy Campbell.
