Set in current day Copenhagen, Embassy Down (8 x 1 hour) combines high impact action with multi-layered political intrigue and human drama. When terrorists storm the opening party at the new United States’ embassy and take the guests hostage, a dramatic chain of events is triggered that plays out across the Danish capital with repercussions around the world.

The series moves between exploring the complex personal relationships between hostage and captor inside the besieged embassy, and the intricate political manoeuvrings outside the embassy.

Embassy Down has been created by Anders Frithiof August and is produced by René Ezra and Tomas Radoor at Nordisk Film.
