Munich – Studio 100 Media announced that is has sold the CGI animated series Arthur and the Minimoys to Finland. Nelonen Media, part of Sanoma Media Finland, the leading multichannel media company in Finland known for its leading brands, has acquired the new series based on Luc Besson’s successful book saga and movie trilogy.
Currently, in production, the first episodes of the series are set for delivery by December next year. The agreement gives Nelonen Media exclusive TV rights for their Free and Pay TV channels. Commenting on the deal, Martin Krieger, Head of Global Distribution at Studio 100 Media said, “We are delighted about this extended collaboration with Nelonen Media who is already on board with us for two of our latest productions, Nils Holgersson and The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill. We are confident that each of the three new CGI series will capture kids’ attention in Finland and further across international territories.”
