Singapore – CNBC, the world’s leading business and financial news network, announced a commercial campaign developed for China’s State Council Information Office (SCIO). SCIO engaged full-service, in-house commercial agency CNBC Catalyst, to develop the campaign highlighting China’s priorities for the 2016 G20 Summit to be held this week in Hangzhou.
The campaign is fully sponsored by the SCIO and is part of its strategy to promote communication, cooperation and mutual trust between China and the world.
The CNBC Catalyst team developed the campaign, centred on two 60-second and 90-second videos titled G20, China Join in, to showcase the 2016 G20 host nation’s aim to promote an innovative, invigorated, interconnected and inclusive global economy. The campaign also reiterates China’s commitment to work together with G20 members to bring about a new round of growth for the world economy.
The SCIO campaign will be rolled out during the G20 Summit and will run until 8 September 2016 on CNBC’s TV, digital and social media platforms. On CNBC APAC, EMEA and US channels, the G20, China Join in video will run intensively during the campaign period.
“The opportunity for CNBC Catalyst to work on such a significant campaign was a privilege and one that we are excited to execute. We are proud to be part of this project to create and deliver content for the SCIO to reach CNBC’s audience of the world’s most powerful business leaders and investors,” said Kerry Tarrant, Vice President, Advertising Sales and Partnerships of CNBC Catalyst.
