Singapore – Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific (DNAP) received six commendations at the Asian Television Awards 2014 in Singapore, including a nod for Highly Commended Cable & Satellite Network of the Year.

Andrew “ET” Ettingshausen, host of Discovery Channel’s Ultimate Fish and Australia’s Shark Week Ambassador, won Best Sports Presenter/Commentator. The other awards were: Winner and Highly Commended for Best Lifestyle Programme (Invite Mr Wright: China and Passage To Malaysia, respectively), Highly Commended for Best Documentary Programme (Himalayan Tsunami), and Highly Commended for Best Children’s Programme (Kids vs Film 2).
