Singapore – Former beauty queens Sharin Keong (New Paper New Face 2012), 22, and Shi Lim (Miss Universe Singapore 2013), 25, are among this year’s roster of finalists for SupermodelMe – The Original Asian Supermodel Series. The show follows 12 aspiring models of Asian heritage competing in a once-in-a-lifetime chance to advance their careers in the fashion industry. Keong and Lim are set to make an appearance at Singapore’s Kinki Restaurant and Bar, alongside their ten fellow finalists, including Brazilian-Japanese twins Rafaella and Gabriela Leonardo and others representing Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines, Thailand and Korea.
SupermodelMe returns with its most daring, most explosive and most revealing season yet. Aptly dubbed as SupermodelMe Sirens, the latest season promises to break new ground as the search for the ultimate siren is set against an exotic background of a brand new location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The grueling, fashion-forward challenges faced by the finalists include crazy casting calls, photoshoots featuring exotic birds, catfights on moving vehicles, and many more.
“SupermodelMe represents another example of DIVA’s commitment to not only entertain but empower its core female viewers,” said Christine Fellowes, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, Universal Networks International. “The women featured in the series prove that real beauty lies beyond a pretty face, boasting a wide range of accomplishments that encompass knowledge, strength and charisma.”
SupermodelMe: Sirens premieres 24 November, Mondays at 8PM, first on DIVA (StarHub Ch513).
