Hubu Media Group announced at MIPTV on April 8 that it has signed a deal to acquire over 25 hours of premium factual programming from global non-fiction content company Off the Fence, to supply to the Chinese market.
The deal covers a range of titles from Off the Fence’s catalogue, from the Nature & Wildlife and History strands:
- Gift of the Rains (13 x 30′) is a beautifully-shot series about the rivers of Africa
- The Whole Story (13 x 60′) uses the latest scientific knowledge to give an alternative guide to Africa’s most fascinating wildlife, with each episode focusing on a different animal
- Icy Killers (1 x 60′) is a CINE Golden Eagle Award-winning documentary on Alaska’s Salmon Sharks
- Last Lion of Liuwa (1 x 60′) is an emotive story of an African wilderness and the last refuge for a solitary Lioness
- Lions & Giants (1 x 60′) takes viewers on a journey with lionesses and a group of elephants along the Chobe River in Africa
- A Murder of Crows (1 x 60′) offers insight and understanding into one of the most haunting and misunderstood species on the planet – the common crow
- Raccoon Nation (1 x 60′) follows a family of urban raccoons as their young learn to find their way in the bright lights of the big city
- Secret Life of the Circler (1 x 60’) lets viewers witness the journey of the rare Black Harrier from egg to fledgling
- Vampire Skeletons (1 x 60’) unearths a remarkable new archaeological find to reveal disturbing truths behind the European legend of the vampire
