CSI Sports (Est. 1997), a provider of televised fight sports content, has signed a multi-year carriage deal for its new 24/ 7 channel FIGHT SPORTS network in HD with SingTel mio TV, becoming Singapore’s first TV channel dedicated to all styles of fight sports.
SingTel’s subscribers will see FIGHT SPORTS’ high profile programme line-up including the ‘live’ HBO World Championship Boxing series, the popular Big Fights ‘live’ series, which features World Title fights sanctioned by the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO, and many other FIGHT SPORTS programmes.
After just eight months in operation, the channel has secured carriage in eleven countries across Europe and Asia with more to be announced soon.
FIGHT SPORTS network, CSI Sports’ first global channel, broadcasts a range of LIVE events and in-depth fight programming covering every aspect of the sport. With multimedia and other ancillary rights, FIGHT SPORTS plans to support and expand the fan base worldwide through its various entertainment programmes such as the reality series, Fight Quest, filmed in over a dozen countries, the highly acclaimed Xtreme Martial Arts series produced by Discovery Networks and specialty series such as Wide World of Fights and KNOCKOUTS! featuring fighters from HBO PPV events such as Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.
