Paris – Reed MIDEM announces that it will be honouring six international television executives at the inaugural MIPTV Medaille d’Honneur awards. The award, which recognises outstanding contributions to the international television business and leading roles in developing the global TV community, will be presented by Paul Zilk, CEO of Reed MIDEM, during MIPTV’s 50th Anniversary Gala dinner on April 10.
The honourees are CEO of Beta Film’s Jan Mojto, Armando Nunez – President and Chief Executive Officer of CBS Global Distribution Group; Armando Nunez Sr – former executive at ITC/Polygram and 20th Century Fox; Masao Takiyama – Executive Officer, Senior Vice President, Television Networks of Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan; Nicolas de Tavernost – Chairman of the Board of the French Groupe M6; as well as Sophie Turner Laing – Managing Director of Content at BSkyB.
