Singapore – According to online news portal AsiaOne, Hollywood-based Singapore actor Chin Han will guest star in U.S. military drama, Last Resort.
The series revolves around the crew of a powerful nuclear submarine who found themselves being targeted by their own country. They then seek refuge on an island and declared war on their home country.
Chin Han will play a Chinese ambassador named Mr Zheng, who works with the captain to negotiate supplies for the starving crew and islanders. His character will appear in several episodes of the action-drama.
The Singaporean-born artist, who currently resides in Los Angeles, has been dabbling in the entertainment business for 20 years. His career spans over a wide scope of performance arts including theatre, television and film. He has worked as a director and producer behind the scenes, and even composed musical scores for concerts.
Chin Han has been named one of Asia’s 25 greatest actors of all time by CNNGo, a division of U.S. cable channel, CNN. The actor’s opportunity came when he acted in Christopher Nolan’s 2008 Batman installment of The Dark Knight alongside Hollywood celebrities Christian Bale and Aaron Eckhart.
