Hong Kong – KIX HD, the newest channel from Tiger Gate debuts this month on mioTV. The channel is a hybrid of its existing KIX and Thrill channels, with action-packed series, fight events, anime and the best thriller, horror, and suspense movies from Asia and Hollywood. To mark the launch of the channel this month is the first and exclusive series Expedition Impossible, Mark Burnett’s most epic production since Survivor. There is also the highly anticipated Korean action drama A Yaksa, airing for the first time exclusively in Southeast Asia and Hollywood Blockbusters The Dark Knight, Shoot ’em Up, Ultraviolet, and Crank: High Voltage. William Pfeiffer, CEO, Tiger Gate Entertainment, said, “Our launch into the business of high-definition television channels is an important milestone for the company as we enter our next phase of growth. The enhanced viewing experience offered by HD will make watching KIX, Thrill, and our future channels even more exciting.” KIX HD’s 24-hour programming will be included in mioTV’s Entertainment Pack and also sold a la carte.
