New Delhi, India – Jak Communications, an independent cable TV provider in Chennai, India, has selected NDS’ MediaHighway, an end-to-end solution, to enable the launch of its digital pay-TV platform. Jak’s new digital platform will provide subscribers with access to hundreds of digital channels including those currently available through their analogue service, interactive functionality and a wide portfolio of games. MediaHighway will provide the technological underpinning for the new service, including an electronic programme guide (EPG) and the framework to introduce new functionality and services as subscriber demand dictates.
