Dhaka – Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific (DNAP) has reached a strategic agreement with the Bashundhara Infotainment (a unit of Bashundhara E-Media Limited) – an arm of Bashundhara Group, to distribute Discovery’s bouquet of channels in Bangladesh. Under the agreement, from May 2009, the Bashundhara Infotainment will distribute Discovery’s three channels namely Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and Discovery Travel & Living. As the distributor for Discovery’s channels in Bangladesh, Bashundhara Infotainment will be responsible for increasing the penetration of the channels across the country through its relationships with the cable operators and Multi System Operators (MSOs).
